    Great video but I agree for with most comments here. Until legislation changes, it will always be hard for ex-felons to find work. I have several websites that offer tips and advice on employment but I hear so many stories of people who continue to struggle.

    none of this matters when it comes down to a background check. nowadays, EVERYONE does a check and if you lie every forget to mention something, you will not get the job.

    the only way you can get a job, is to sell yourself, and get the person doing the hiring to take a chance, knowingly and willingly.

    Funny, im going to school for medicine, and am legally able to practice in the state of NY, but i can’t get a job at a bank, an insurance company, certain office jobs. It’s really silly. Laws need to be passed for people with records
